THE LORE

Short Story: “Bygone”Gaiana’s Heartstone is a fragment of an unknown Major Relic, believed to be associated somehow to Nymeia, of the Twelve. Ancient depictions within a resurfaced temple of Nym had revealed a once whole relic being used sometime during, potentially, the Fifth Astral Era, around 1,500 years ago.

The depictions were unclear of its use and the archaeologist that had made the discovery has since passed under mysterious circumstances. Further depictions noted that the Major Relic had descended from the stars even further before the Sixth Umbral Calamity.

No information is known beyond this.

Avillion is a community.Whether you just want to roleplay, raid, or simply enjoy the company of others, you're welcome to join our Discord and participate at your own pace. In-game membership isn't required; being part of our Discord community is enough. We host story events, casual gatherings, and the occasional raid or game nights!If you enjoy being around, be around! ROLEPLAYERS

Recruitment in Avillion is flexible and pretty informal.If you have an idea for how your character might get involved, offering help, using a skillset, or being pulled into an ongoing situation, we can coordinate something! Characters don’t need to randomly show up or force an introduction; meeting out in the world, setting up a small RP interaction, or being invited into an event are all totally fine.There’s no strict vetting or requirements here, just communicate on what will work best for you!

CHARACTERS & LORE

We aim to stay mostly grounded in FFXIV’s world, but we make plenty of room for supernatural elements as long as they’re fun and plausible with in-world terms. Think mysterious, weird, or unusual not cosmic god-slaying or reality-breaking power levels. Characters with strange abilities, niche magic, research backgrounds, fighters, medics, scholars, or just capable adventurers all fit in.Most plots/quests are story and puzzle-focused with light combat when it comes up, and we trust players to know their own limits. As long as it makes sense in the world and you’re open to collaboration, you’ll probably fine.
